Previously I've had bits and pieces on radio comedy shows across Radio 2, 4 and was one of the winners long ago of a monologue competition on Radio 5. The monologue was performed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, formerly Finn in Casualty and was directed by Jessica Dromgoole. If anyone would like a listen here is a link:

In 2004 I was showcased by The Television Arts Performance Showcase at Granada Studios, Manchester. My short play 'The Last Day' was performed there and screened at Bafta in Piccadilly, London.

I graduated with a Screenwriting Masters Degree at Liverpool John Moores in 2006.

I've been short-listed in the Red Planet Prize and was a shadow-writer on series 7 and 8 of Channel 4 comedy-drama Shameless.

Due to caring responsibilities I put away script-writing for about six years but returned to it in 2021.

In 2023 I did the Theatre Writers Development Programme at the Royal Court in Liverpool. In December 2024 I was one of the writers for their Stocking Fillers season.

I am also a songwriter with songs on Spotify and all streaming platforms. I write a blog, somewhat loosely based around scriptwriting and song-writing. Again, here is another link:
