Who we are

The Liverpool Scratch Network was established in 2024 by actress, Alicia Brockenbrow. After spending the early years of her career in London and attending Scratch events in the capital, she wanted to establish a similar event in her home city.

Beginning life as an event in tandem with Liverpool’s own LA Productions, Liverpool Scratch Network showcased six scenes from a pilot written by local writer Cheryl Mackie and quickly gained a committed and talented roster of regular contributors.

The next year saw monthly events on a tour of some of Liverpool’s most iconic cultural venues such as the Liverpool Arts Bar, The Pen Factory, Love Lane Brewery, the Everyman Theatre, Camp & Furnace and many others, culminating in a one year Anniversary celebration at Liverpool Royal Court Theatre.

Now in it’s second year and growing, the Liverpool Scratch Network continues to offer an ideal workshop and networking space for creative talent from all backgrounds and experience.
