I'm an actor from Liverpool, returning in 2026 to the profession after a 'small' (20+ years) break working in the NHS as a mental health nurse and psychotherapist. I trained at the Oxford School of Drama and I like anything good (though I cannot sing a note so no song & dance for me) but I am drawn to social dramas (think Alan Clarke etc.) and anything highlighting the diversity of life/the world but I feel some humour is pretty much vital in anything. But again: I like anything good, no matter the genre. Professionally, I've done bits of filming (TV, commercial, corporates) and theatre and during training loved physical theatre (like playing Gregor in Berkoff's 'Metamorphosis') and 'classics' (Beckett, Pinter, Chekhov, Shakespeare). I also drive and am happy to travel.
