Gerry is a Southport-based actor, writer, and former talent agent whose performing career spans over three decades across TV, Film, Theatre, and Musicals.

Early in her career as a soubrette, Gerry appeared in premier venues across the UK—including the New Theatre (Hull), Apollo Theatre (Oxford), and Blackpool Grand Theatre—performing alongside legendary variety stars such as Ken Dodd, Les Dawson, and Keith Harris. As an international vocalist, her work ranged from luxury hotels and overseas venues to a stint on the infamous Achille Lauro cruise ship. Her recording credits include backing vocals for regional productions, solo albums, and two Eurovision Song Contest entries.

On television, Gerry has featured in day-player roles on Coronation Street and EastEnders, played Brian Conley’s wife in This Way Up, and starred as the lead in Cliff Richard’s ‘We Should Be Together This Christmas’ music video—leading to appearances on This Morning and The Gloria Hunniford Show.

Offstage, Gerry spent years in performance management—producing, directing, and choreographing—before founding and running her own actors' agency. In 2007, she stepped away from the industry to complete an M.A. in Counselling Studies. She went on to work as a psychotherapeutic counsellor and served as the Online Director for an international children and young people’s counselling service.  

Gerry returned to acting in 2018 with a showcase performance at The Lowry Theatre, Manchester. Since then, she has appeared in short films, feature projects, TV pilots, and theatre festivals. An emerging writer, Gerry staged her debut short play, Her First Time, in Liverpool, which she is currently adapting into a six-part web series. She remains dedicated to working on creative projects that spark joy!
